- You would have been sent a welcome email from "SECAmb Discover" (subject: "SECAmb Discover: New user account") issuing you with a username and initial temporary password.Please note that as these emails are computer generated, they can on occasions be viewed as spam by mailboxes with high spam filters. We therefore always recommend that you double check your junk mail for possible new alerts.Simply visit http://discover.secamb.nhs.uk and enter this username and password.On first entry, the site will ask you to change your temporary password to something more personal. Please keep your new password safe for future access to SECAmb Discover.The first thing to do is check your junk mailbox for a message from "SECAmb Discover" (subject: "SECAmb Discover: New user account"). If you have not been sent an alert, please contact: organisational.development@secamb.nhs.ukIf you forget your username or password, simply select the "forgotten your username or password?" link beneath the login box.Here you can enter your email address into the "username" or "email" field and select "search". If you have entered an email address that is registered to the site, you will be sent an automatic email with instructions to reset your login details.Please ensure that you complete your password reset within 2 hours of receiving your email, otherwise the request would have timed out and you will need to submit another lost password or username request from the site.If you continue to experience any issues with resetting your login details, please contact the technical helpdesk for further assistance: http://helpdesk.onclick.co.uk/Based on your job role, you have automatically been enrolled onto your relevant Key Skills elearning courses for this year. By clicking on "My Courses" from the home dashboard, you will see all the courses you are currently enrolled onto.Your Key Skills courses for this year have been automatically assigned, based on your job role. If you wish to access any of the other courses within the Key Skills section, you will see that you are unable to enrol upon these yourself. If you feel that you have been enrolled onto an incorrect set of Key Skills courses, please contact: organisational.development@secamb.nhs.ukUsers are able to self-enrol onto any of the courses within the Clinical, Non Clinical or Induction course categories, from the home dashboard. Once you have enrolled onto a new course, this will then appear in your "My Courses" list.Yes. The new SECAmb Discover platform is fully responsive, so you can login and view resources on your smartphone or tablet. All of the new Key Skills courses are also built for use on mobile devices. The current Clinical Course offering however is available for use on desktop or tablet only.Once logged in, if you click on your name in the top right hand corner and select "Grades" from the dropdown list, this will show a list of the grades you have achieved on course assessments.To view a certificate for a course you have completed, first login to the site, select the course you would like a certificate for and click on the "Certificate" link within the course menu. If you have achieved the required pass grade, as stated in the assessment instructions, this will allow you to download a PDF of your certificate. This can then be printed or saved on your computer.The feedback forms are not mandatory, however your comments are important to us. We would be grateful if you could take the time to complete the short questionnaires at the end of courses to support us with future development.Access the Key Skills dashboard and visit the "CFR Information" page. Here you will find a list of PDFs and documents useful to your role.From the launch of SECAmb Discover, SECAmb Live will be placed into maintenance mode and any future training will need to be completed on SECAmb Discover only. Your past scores and certificates will not be lost and still available to SECAmb administrators for a limited period of time. If you have any questions or require any historic information, please contact: organisational.development@secamb.nhs.ukIf you have already completed your key skills training on SECAmb Live for 2017/18, you will not need to repeat this on SECAmb Discover. SECAmb's Learning and Development Administrator has full access to historic data of your training activity.
